everytime a join a server it gets stuck on load and it will not respond and i will have to close it is that because of Minecraft.net Closed or Its me or java Please tell me how to fix it

Yes, I turned it off for today as my internet is flipping the fk out. : ) So now it's on.

I tried that with the server just a few minutes ago and it only said that minecraft.net was up.... Not the server. Hmmm.
